PERSONAL ORDER EVENT FUKUOKA-Vol.2-

In Report Vol. 2, we will report on the personal order event. The venue was Pinorso, located in Fukuoka. The salon space attached to the atelier of suit craftsman Matsukuma is calm, yet not too formal, and is a comfortable space. There is no excessive decoration, but you can feel a strong sense of beauty, and Matsukuma's personality and sincere attitude towards clothing are conveyed.

In addition to samples of bespoke shoes from YUKI SHIRAHAMA BOTTIER, the salon also has shoes from the ready-to-wear shoe brand AGOL available. Not only can you actually see and touch AGOL shoes, but you can also try them on if you wish, and we offer them in a way that allows you to purchase them on the spot.
When people try out AGOL, they often say, "It feels lighter when you wear it than when you hold it in your hand." This is not simply because it is light. AGOL combines a soft insole with an outsole that is not too soft.
The insole sinks in just the right amount, allowing the sole of your foot to naturally fit inside the shoe and stabilizing your foot. Meanwhile, the outsole maintains its shape, firmly supporting and holding the foot in place. The balance between these two elements creates a "surface" contact between the foot and the shoe, resulting in a lightweight feel the moment you put them on.

The photo shows the original silver buckle used in bespoke shoes. The original silver buckles used in YUKI SHIRAHAMA BOTTIER bespoke shoes are handcrafted by expert silver artisans. Made from sterling silver 925, the buckles are available in two finishes: a polished finish, characterized by a neat and plain appearance, and a hammered finish, where the artisan hammers the metal one by one to create a hammered pattern.
Regarding hammered finishes, there is a method of using mold molding to create a hammered look, but in that case the corners are rounded and the depth of the texture is weakened. By hammering the metal by hand, many corners are created on the surface, adding a three-dimensional feel to the texture of the material. In addition, this buckle is further smoked after the hammered finish to add a deep color.
Enjoy the texture that can only be achieved by hand with a "hammered finish." Or, choose a plain, balanced look with a "polished finish." This is one of the charms of our bespoke products. In addition to the buckles introduced here, we will have a wide variety of samples available at the order event, so you can touch and choose each one.

This concludes our report on the personal order event in Fukuoka. The next event in Fukuoka is scheduled for around June. Thank you very much to everyone who came to visit us despite the unfortunate bad weather on the day. We would also like to express our gratitude to Matsukuma-san for allowing us to use their venue.

YUKI SHIRAHAMA BOTTIER has been holding secret order events mainly in Tokyo and Fukuoka. Going forward, we plan to hold these events approximately three times a year in each city. We will update the schedule on our website, so if you are interested, please feel free to contact us using the inquiry form.
Sharing not only the finished product but also the dialogue behind it is a part of what we value in bespoke. At YUKI SHIRAHAMA BOTTIER, we will continue to use these opportunities to create shoes that fit each individual's outfit.
