Personal Order Event Fukuoka Vol.1 by Yuki Shirahama Bottier

On December 13, 2025, we held an order event in Fukuoka. The venue was Pinorso, the atelier of suit craftsman Matsukuma, the same location as the joint order event for suits, shirts, and shoes, "Kamihama Matsukai," held in June of this year.

This time, we delivered three pairs of shoes with buckle designs. Even though they share the same design, the look differs depending on the upper material and the finish of the buckle surface, resulting in each pair having its own unique character.

For our first customer, we had previously delivered a similar design of black kid goat suede boots, and this time we produced them in a different color: dark brown kid goat suede.

The kid goat suede used is the buckskin of young goats around 6 months old. Its characteristics include long, dense fibers, making it an incredibly supple and pleasant-to-the-touch leather. In terms of durability, despite its thinness of 0.9mm, the dense fibers give it the toughness characteristic of goat leather.

Although it's made of long-napped suede, the glossy beading accentuates the lines, resulting in an overall sharp and sophisticated look.

We delivered a pair of jodhpur boots to our second customer. Unusually, we've had a string of boot deliveries this time around.

This customer has a high instep on their right foot, and was concerned about pressure on the instep with ready-made shoes. However, the shoes we delivered this time have resolved that issue, and they are now able to wear them without any stress.

This single monk strap shoe has only one strap hole, as requested by the customer. Because bespoke shoes are precisely made to fit the foot shape, there's no need for excessive adjustment range, making this specification possible.

The Kudu leather used for the upper has a unique, wild texture and a thickness of approximately 2.5mm, making it easy to create a moderately casual look. It's a leather we often recommend in our store. Furthermore, its thickness makes it a durable material that can withstand the cold of winter.

This time, we introduced three pairs of shoes that were delivered at the PERSONAL ORDER EVENT FUKUOKA. All of them were beautifully finished, with no excess wrinkles on the instep, no unnecessary gaps in the top line, and no lifting at the base of the straps, and all customers were satisfied.
